About Us

Dear Mr. Anderson;

I just wanted to write to you in regards to the quality of shoeing and execution of your business practices. You are the true "Farrier" and craftsman.

In the past 20 plus years of owning several horses involved in barrel racing, I have had many experiences with different farriers and so called "shoers". I mean there is a difference in a person who knows the anatomy of a horse and a person who went to the feed store and purchase shoeing tools to make a fast buck because someone showed them once how to trim a hoof and nail a shoe.

The horrifying feeling of being at the mercy of getting a phone number from someone who know someone who knows the mentioned "shoer" to come out to your home to work on your precious horse whose well being is in your hands. Then the sinking feeling of seeing the type of "shoddy" work done and none the less being "robbed" of money because no one is around to do the work.

Fortunately in the Fall of 2007 you traveled to Elko, Nevada during the Elko County Fair with your friends and clients to participate in the races. In turn was introduced to you by the same. With such high praises and best referrals a horse person could hear about a wonderful, kind, caring, quality, and experience farrier was available during the fair and reasonable in pricing. I could not believe our prayers were answered!

After meeting you and your wonderful Bride Susie and not forget the entertaining "Jack". I could not wait to see you work with my horses. My girls were in such need as they were unbalanced and improperly shod from previous attempts from the locals, that the instans relief could be seen during competion.

From then on Elko and surrounding counties have benefitted from your services, craftsmanship and always upbeat personality.

I could not have asked for anyone better or more sincere in a farrier and a friend than you Paul, Susie and Jack.

Your Lifelong Friend,

Elaine Simonsen, Drag'n D'tail Barrel Racing Productions Elko, Nevada
